Project Description: The school began in 1995 transforming a dry, barren area into a lush garden paradise. The area now contains flower and vegetable gardens, a greenhouse, a butterfly and songbird garden, a nature trail, and pond with an outdoor classroom. Students are studying birds this year. The have been researching, collecting data, meeting with Audubon representatives and learning about bird watching techniques.
