HABITAT RULES FOR 4H JUNIOR WILDLIFE STEWARDS

4-H Wildlife Steward for Deer Creek Elementary School

  • Stay on the trails. No running on trails.
  • Don’t litter. Use trashcans.
  • Respect wildlife. Don’t disturb the animals or their homes.
  • Use soft voices.
  • Don’t pick the flowers or remove plants. Avoid cutting green trees.
  • Recognize and avoid poison oak and stinging nettle.
  • Don’t throw rocks in streams or ponds.
  • Don’t eat anything you find outside.
  • Keep eyes and ears open for new and exciting learning experiences.
  • Note: Exceptions to these rules only with instructor's permission.
