GREENHOUSES

Greenhouses are a way for kids to learn how to grow and cultivate plants in an urban setting. Greenhouses need to have lots of light and shelter from the elements. Greenhouses help the students feel a sense of responsibility. Kids get to see how the plants grow and change over time. Greenhouses can range from a building that is the traditional greenhouse to a tent like structure just set up on school grounds. No matter what a greenhouse looks like they are always good learning tools for any school.
