SCHOOL NURSERY

School nurseries can be affordable educational ways to get your school gardens off to a running start. By growing your own plants from seedlings the children get to see how they develop as time progresses. Once the plants are big enough they can be transplanted to add to your garden. Also this will give you a sense of what kind of plants will be hardy enough to handle the weather in your area. You can save money on planting seeds because you don’t have to buy already established plants. Plus if you really want to save on budget you can go on walks in the neighborhood to find seeds or have kids bring in seeds from home. These can give a very eclectic mix of plants to your school gardens.
